Task: Deploy Change
In this task, the Change coordinator coordinates the deployment of the change into the final environment. In this task, the approved changes are implemented as scheduled and reviewed against the agreed implementation success criteria.

Once the approval to deploy change into production is obtained, the appropriate tasks must be allocated to the appropriate Delivery Teams. The Change Coordinator must oversee the entire implementation activity and ensure the implementation is executed as planned.

The Delivery Team must implement (deploy) the change as per the agreed plan. Once completed, outcome of the deployment must be reviewed against agreed implementation success criteria. The team should determine if the change implementation has been successful. In case the change implementation fails, the team must immediately execute the back-out plan to reverse the change. After back-out, the system must be again retested for its integrity. The reason for unsuccessful change implementation must be investigated and agreed actions must be taken. The Change Coordinator should keep all relevant stakeholders informed on the same. The progress of the change implementation must be recorded in the Change Record.
